is Alpha Course? |
| |
Alpha is an opportunity
for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed,
non-threatening setting over ten thought-provoking
weekly sessions. It is low-key, friendly and fun. It
involves a brunch, a talk, coffee and a small group
discussion where people have the opportunity to express
their thoughts and share with one another. It helps
people in answering questions like: What's the point
of life? What happens when we die? Is forgiveness possible?
What relevance does Jesus have for our lives today?
There is no cost involved in attending Alpha.

- Why did Jesus die?
- How can I be sure of my faith?
- Why and how should I read the Bible?
- Why and how should I pray?

- Why and how should I tell others?

Alpha is for everyone, including:
- Those skeptical of Christianity but are willing to give it one more shot
- Those looking to strengthen their faith and get to know people at church
- Those who want to brush up on the basics of Christianity
- Those who are unsure of what it means to be a Christian
- Those who are unsure of who Jesus is
- Those wanting to investigate Christianity
- New Christians
- Newcomers to the church
Remember: There is no pressure involved in Alpha. It
is a relaxed environment where guests are encouraged
to participate as much or as little as they would like.
In addition, there are no “right answers” in Alpha;
guests are encouraged to share their views, however
skeptical they may be. |
