The mission of the Children’s Choir Program at Northwest Covenant Church is to provide memorable, positive musical experiences that worship God. We strive to reinforce the childrens’ sense of belonging to God’s family and to have them participate in worship and ministry with the church and community in a fun environment. This ministry is available for children in pre-school through junior high. The goals are that the children: 1) Understand God’s love, 2) Thank God for loving us, 3) Share God’s love with others, and 4) Help others worship God.
Northwest has two Children’s choirs:
Cherub Choir – This choir is for children in pre-kindergarten and kindergarten, ages 3, 4l and 5. They meet during the last 10 minutes of Sunday School.
Chapel Choir – This is for children in first grade and up. They meet every Sunday after Sunday School from 10:40 AM to 11:25 AM.
Both choirs share in the Worship services from time to time as well as special concerts and programs.
