Contemporary Worship

The Pastor brings the same message at each  Worship Service

Welcome to the
Traditional Service

This is our more formal service, and we use Scripture, the recitation of the Lord’s Prayer and Apostle’s Creed, and other liturgical readings in worship.

At this service you will find the Sanctuary, Bell, and Children’s Choirs participating, and the pipe organ is used to enhance our worship.   We most commonly use traditional hymns of the church found in the Covenant Hymnal.  From time to time people from the congregation will participate in the service.  During the summer various vocal and instrumental soloists provide the special music.

During the school year children up to 5th grade are invited to Children’s Worship in Fellowship Hall.  Child care is provided for infants through Kindergarten.

Welcome to the
Contemporary Service

This worship experience is more informal, and you will find more people from the congregation participating in scripture readings and prayer.

We use contemporary music and praise songs during this service, with projected words instead of hymnals. Music is led by a worship team with guitars, electric piano and percussion instruments. Videos are often a part of this worship service, and there is a time to “meet and greet” one another.

During the school year children up to 5th grade are invited to Children’s Worship in Fellowship Hall.  Child care is provided for infants through Kindergarten.

Praise Time & Sunday School

9:40 AM

During the school year the Sunday School hour begins at 9:40 AM with a 15 minute Praise Time where everyone meets together in the Sanctuary to sing and listen to skits and puppet presentations related to the theme being taught in Sunday School for children that Sunday.

At about 9:55 AM everyone is dismissed to their individual classes

Classes are held for children from the age of 2 thru high school.  Classes are also available for adults.  Child care is provided for children younger than 2 years.
